February 26 Weigh inI am at 225 today and Trent's at 203. That's 1 more lb. for me and 1.8 lbs. for him. On to another week... February 24 Trying new thingsHi all! I've been asked what I'm eating to lose weight. So far, I've been eating a yogurt for breakfast, two fruits a day for snacks, Lean Cuisines for lunch and dinner and vegetables for my snack at night. When I want something sweet I eat a Smart Ones dessert. I am going to start the Flat Belly Diet tomorrow. I heard about it on Rachael Ray and bought the book from Prevention magazine. I am hoping it will help. It starts with a four day anti-bloat diet and I need that because between the thyroid issues and the Fibromyalgia, I have experienced ALOT of bloating and swelling! So, we'll see how that goes! :) Trying something new. I want to speed the weight loss up a bit! Trent's trucking right along. It should be a good weigh in on Tuesday! February 16 Tuesday's weigh inI had such a busy week that I never had time to update from Tuesday' weigh in. Trent lost another 2.2 lbs. this week. Yea! I only lost .30 lb. :( I don't know what happened to me this week. Maybe hormones. I feel like I'm going to have a good weigh in this coming Tuesday though so I'm looking forward to the next weigh in! February 10 BluesI have the blues right now. Trent is kicking butt and losing weight fast now. I was in the beginning but I seem to be stalling now. I have had very bad swelling in my hands and feet the last two days which I know is fluid retention and I don't know why that happens. I drink SOOO much water that I should be flushing everything out but some days I can jump on the scale and weigh three pounds more than the day before just because of water retention. If anyone knows how to help that I would be more than thankful for ideas. So, I haven't lost anything the last few days but I'm still eating healthy and working out and trying not to let it get me down. I'm happy for Trent too. He's doing a great job. I just wish I could pick it up a bit. :( February 06 Last night's weigh inTrent lost another 3 lbs. and is now at 206.8 and I lost another 1.5 lbs. and am at 228.1. It's not as much as I wanted but it's better than nothing. We did eat badly this weekend with the Superbowl. :( I had chips and cheese dip...not good. But, a loss is a loss. On to a better week! February 01 Feeling goodI'm feeling good about us lately. I've been using my elliptical alot and we're really trying to eat right. Still can't get Trent to get rid of the pop but as I said before, he's cut down considerably. I am feeling more healthy overall and even though the scale is moving slowly I know I'm making progress. My clothes are definitely fitting alot looser and that's a good feeling. Can't wait to be thin again and keeping the faith!!! |
